The new Norfolk Way Art Trail is an ambitious scheme of public art interventions across a 250-mile-long trail, with artwork installed in a mix of sensitive rural environments, and urban and significant heritage contexts. Norfolk County Council is driving out-of-season tourism through their EXPERIENCE project and sought to invite artists through an accessible open call process to design interventions that would respond to the ever-changing season and diverse and expansive landscape of Norfolk.

Working with the client to develop the commission process, brief and ensure the broadest reach and accessible process, Creative Giants went the extra mile by creating site-specific video briefs. After a diligent selection process, we have supported the EXPERIENCE team and the selected artists to develop their projects from concept to tangible and deliverable intervention, all whilst adeptly managing the work in line with CDM procedures
